Big Beams Timber Frames

Owner Rob Hughes has been a teacher for over 30 years and has created an award wining high school Timber Framing program. He has also been teaching adult workshops for nearly a decade at various locations in the Finger Lakes Region. Having both a technical understanding of the craft as well as a gift for passing on his knowledge, Rob's adult workshops are in high demand. His students have gone on to build their own stunning frames or gone on to work in the industry. Recently, he has expanded his workshop offerings at the Skeeter Hollow Camp-Us to provide students with primitive camping options. Workshop participants can expect an in-depth hands-on experience and will be amazed by how much they have learned while working with Rob at Skeeter Hollow.
